This show aims to emphasize the sensory richness of materials—highlighting how texture, layering, and surface can deepen our connection to a piece of art. These small-scale works engage the viewer’s sense of touch, even if only visually. Whether through heavily worked surfaces, woven materials, embossed forms, or tactile media like fabric, wax, mixed media, or ceramics, the exhibition focuses on artworks that beg to be closely inspected, inviting viewers into a more intimate and sensory-driven experience. This presentation is juried by Susan Eley.
